Psychedelic Therapy and Integration
Support for Seekers
There are many paths to healing. You don't have to walk them alone.
Psychedelic-assisted therapy and integration can support deep psychological healing, increased self-awareness, and meaningful life change. I offer grounded, clinically informed support for preparing for, working with, and integrating psychedelic experiences.
-
Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) combines the intentional use of ketamine with psychotherapy. It can support deep and lasting psychological change, often more rapidly than therapy alone.
I use ketamine as a complement to other experiential therapeutic approaches. This creates a focused, supported, and intensive form of therapy for healing and transformation.
We then integrate these experiences into meaningful insight, behavioral change, and sustained growth.
I offer KAP remotely in partnership with Journey Clinical, whose medical team determines eligibility, prescribes ketamine, and supports clinical monitoring throughout the process.

The use of psychedelics for healing, growth, and spiritual exploration has a long history. These experiences are often most meaningful when supported with preparation and integration.
I can help you prepare for psychedelic sessions by clarifying intentions, and by supporting the creation of a strong set and setting. I also provide integration support to help you make sense of your experience and apply it in daily life.
This work can reduce distress, support meaning-making, and help you get more from the experience.
Together, we create a grounded and supportive container for inner exploration so you can feel less alone in the process.
I plan to offer MDMA- and psilocybin-assisted therapy once they are approved and legally available.

Mindfulness, somatic awareness, and parts work can provide a strong foundation for psychedelic therapy. These practices help you develop greater presence, emotional resilience, self-compassion, and flexibility in your inner experience.
As a student, practitioner, and teacher of meditation, yoga, and contemplative practices for over 25 years, I support clients in developing and deepening their own internal resources.
These tools can be used to prepare for, navigate, and integrate psychedelic experiences, helping to create more stability, insight, and continuity across the process.
If you’re considering psychedelic-assisted therapy or integration work, the first step is a consultation to see if this approach is a good fit for your needs and goals.
Frequently Asked Questions About Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP):
-
Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy combines ketamine with psychotherapy to support emotional processing, insight, and meaningful change. Ketamine can temporarily shift awareness, allowing access to thoughts, emotions, and perspectives that are often less available in ordinary states of consciousness.
Therapy then helps integrate these experiences into lasting psychological and behavioral change.
-
Ketamine has rapid antidepressant and mood-altering effects that can begin within 1–2 hours after treatment.
It works by temporarily shifting activity in brain systems involved in mood and stress regulation. This shift is thought to support neuroplasticity—the brain’s ability to form new connections and change entrenched patterns of thinking and feeling.
In my work with Journey Clinical, ketamine is provided only in sublingual lozenge form.
-
Ketamine has been used safely in medical settings for decades as an anesthetic and is increasingly used in mental health treatment, including for depression, anxiety, and PTSD.
When provided in a medically supervised setting and used as part of a structured KAP protocol, ketamine has a strong safety profile for many people.
Like any medication, it is not appropriate for everyone. Individuals with a history of problematic ketamine use may not be eligible for KAP. If there are concerns about substance use or risk factors, we will discuss them carefully as part of the screening and decision-making process before moving forward.
-
KAP may be helpful for people struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, life transitions, existential concerns, or patterns that have been difficult to shift through traditional approaches alone. The best way to determine whether KAP is appropriate for you is through a consultation and medical evaluation.
-
Experiences vary from person to person. Many people report a sense of relaxation, expanded awareness, vivid imagery, emotional insight, or a shift in perspective. Some experiences are deeply meaningful, while others are more subtle. We prepare carefully beforehand and work together afterward to integrate whatever emerges.
-
KAP begins with an intake and preparation phase where we review your history, clarify goals, and prepare for the treatment process.
Treatment typically includes a short series of preparation sessions, ketamine-assisted psychotherapy sessions (often 4–6 sessions depending on your needs), and integration work afterward.
Some people notice changes shortly after sessions, while for others the benefits emerge more gradually over time through the integration process.
-
KAP is offered in person at my office in Jamaica Plain, Boston.
I provide a calm, supported setting for the dosing session so you can focus inward on the therapeutic experience. You’ll need to arrange a ride home afterward, as driving is not possible after sessions.
Preparation and integration sessions are typically remote, and in some cases we may also meet outdoors for ecotherapy when it fits your goals and the work we’re doing.
-
KAP is billed at my hourly rate of $200 per hour. Ketamine dosing sessions typically last about 3 hours.
If I am in-network with your insurance, preparation and integration sessions may be covered, as well as the first hour of the dosing session. You would be responsible for your usual copay plus any additional out-of-pocket time beyond the first hour of the dosing session.
Journey Clinical may also be able to bill some insurance plans directly for their medical services, depending on your coverage.
Example of a 3-hour dosing session:
Insurance copay for the first hour
$400 out of pocket for the remaining 2 hours (at $200/hour)
